About the opportunity
The Director, Student Administration Services will be a leader who is proactive and driven to improve the student experience within the Student Operations remit of Student Administration Services. They will work collaboratively with University staff, external agencies, service providers and stakeholders to provide critical strategic and operational insights, informing University Strategy, policy, system and process decisions related to the Student Lifecycle.
The Director provides overall operational management for the establishment and implementation of large-scale strategic programs of work on behalf of the Office of the Chief Faculty Experience Officer (CFEO), alongside day-to-day management of the Student Operations portfolio, comprised of Student Fees, Scholarships & Faculty Services.
As a key leadership position reporting to the CFEO, the Director, Student Administration Services is responsible for leading transformative service initiatives that will positively impact the student experience and faculty engagement from enrolment to graduation, providing policy and procedural recommendations as a result of root cause analysis or operational complexity.
About you
- experience working within a faculty/school or in a role with students would be desirable
- experience in higher education, with comprehensive understanding of relevant government legislation or proven experience in managing legislative obligations in a complex environment
- proven success in creating and leading a continuous improvement culture that proactively identifies, prioritises and implements changes that improves customer experience and improves the efficiency and effectiveness of business practices and performance
- proven leadership experience in leading large teams in a complex organisation.
